Shades of Blue plays a repertoire of 30s and 40s Jazz for a deliciously retro evening or a « Let’s Swing » theme party.
The 1930s and 40s. The height of Swing. The great Big Bands play in renown American dance halls: The Cotton Club and Apollo in New York, The Reno Club in Kansas City…
In the biggest venues, like the Savoy in New York, 4000 people can routinely be found dancing to this popular music.
« It don’tmean a thing, if it ain’tgot that swing »
Today, Swing has lost none of its vitality and is increasingly in demand, especially for Theme Parties (30s, Prohibition, Casino…).
Get into the Swing with our versions of hits by Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie…
